The ICDE Quality Network maps the development of Quality
Assurance in the field of open, flexible and distance learning in all world regions. This report summarises our analysis of developments during 2020-2021. It particularly investigates the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in accelerating the inclusion of online elements in Higher Education institutions in all parts of the world, together with the need for revised understandings of Quality Assurance to support this transition.
