ICDE Technology and Innovation Network
The Technology and Innovation Network (TIN) is an ICDE member-led network of global participants interested in understanding and raising awareness of technology and innovation in education.
Network aims
The key objectives of the network are:
- To explore the impact of Artificial Intelligence for learning and teaching innovation on a global scale through ICDE’s membership.
- To explore cross-institutional collaboration that leverages educational technologies and digital pedagogies leading to curriculum design that embeds global collaborative learning encompassing intercultural awareness and global competence
- To support members to learn in an open and safe environment about improving practice using educational technologies and pedagogies
- Glocalisation of learning and collaboration – To lead initiatives where we learn from and adopt good global practices related to the use of technology-infused learning and teaching.
- Connect ICDE members and new research with current practices within the global community
Network activities on how to deliver these aims will be agreed within the network.
About the network
Network lead
Introducing the network Chair: ICDE Institutional member University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ). UniSQ will coordinate the network and activities for its first period (March 2024 – March 2026), supported by the ICDE Secretariat through an agreed mandate.
UniSQ has a passion to foster open sharing and online, international communities around online learning approaches using new and emerging tools and pedagogies.

Network members
Strengthening ICDE’s values of empowering its members and embracing collaboration and connectivity across borders, the network is open to all current ICDE members of all categories (Institutional, individual and student members) with an interest in and commitment to topics within technology and innovation in education. As with all ICDE networks and committees, regional and gender diversity will be considered for the appointments.
