Get nominated for a UNESCO Prize

As an NGO in consultative partnership with UNESCO, ICDE can endorse or nominate candidates for prestigious UNESCO awards.

UNESCO-Uzbekistan Beruniy Prize for Scientific Research on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence

Deadline for submission to ICDE: 20 June 2025

This Prize seeks to reward outstanding efforts of individuals, institutions and organizations that have made significant contributions to the understanding of artificial intelligence and its ethical implications by promoting research, cooperation and its use in various fields. Read more here.

ICDE members who would like to be nominated for this prize are invited to email the Secretariat at icde@icde.org.

Please include the following information:

  • A description of you/your institution’s background and achievements
  • A summary of the work or the results of the work, publications and other supporting documents of major importance
  • A description of your contribution to the Prize’s objectives (available here)
