Speaker bios
Prof. Dr. phil. habil. Ulf-Daniel Ehlers is Professor of Education Management and Lifelong Learning at DHBW Corporate State University Karlsruhe and founder of mindful-leaders.net. He has headed the NextEducation research group since 2017 and focuses on future skills and educational transformation. In 2011, he was appointed Vice President by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Science to oversee the founding of Germany’s first dual university. He has lectured in over 45 countries worldwide and published over 300 papers with more than 7,500 citations. He advises international organizations such as the UN and the EU. His research covers educational quality, learning innovation and future skills. He is a sought-after keynote speaker and author of numerous books.
Daniel Burgos works as President/Rector of MIU City University Miami (USA) and Vice-Rector for International Research, at Universidad Internacional de La Rioja (UNIR), where he is a full professor. He holds a UNESCO Chair on eLearning and he is the Director of the Research Institute for Innovation & Technology in Education (UNIR iTED). He has implemented +80 European and worldwide R&D projects and published +250 scientific papers, 58 books and special issues, and 11 patents. He holds 12 PhD degrees, including Computer Science and Education. He works as a consultant for the United Nations (UNECE), ICESCO, the European Commission and Parliament, and the Russian Academy of Science. His interests are mainly focused on Educational Technology & Innovation, and their practical application in various fields, such as AI and Games.
