Four Norwegian ICDE members newly appointed as Centre for Excellence in Higher Education
The Norwegian Centre for Quality Assurance in Education – NOKUT newly appointed four new Centre for Excellence in Higher Education – all institutional members of ICDE.
The Centre for Excellence initiative represents a focused and long-term effort in order to stimulate the development of education and innovative approaches in higher education at the bachelor and master levels. The ambition of the initiative is to contribute to the development of excellent quality in higher education and to highlight the fact that teaching and research are equally important activities for universities and university colleges. The four new Centres are:
CCSE – Center for Computing in Science Education, University of Oslo
ENgage – Centre for Engaged Education through Entrepreneurship, Norwegian University of Science and Technology, NTNU
EXcITEd – Excellent IT Education Norwegian University of Science and Technology, NTNU and Nord University
CEFIMA - Centre of Excellence in Film and Interactive Media, Lillehammer University College
