North America Task Force

The Global Advocacy Campaign (GAC) task force for North America works to advance inclusive, scalable, and sustainable education across the North American region.

About the task force

The North American task force was officially launched in 2024. The lead, OLC, is a collaborative community of higher education leaders and innovators, dedicated to advancing quality digital teaching and learning experiences designed to reach and engage the modern learner – anyone, anywhere, anytime.

The task force co-lead for 2025 has more than two decades of experience in the field of education – Dr. Nicole Johnson is a leading expert in macro-level digital learning trends. As the Executive Director of the Canadian Digital Learning Research Association, she brings key knowledge and insight from Canada and the wider region to this task force.
