Latin America Task Force
The Global Advocacy Campaign (GAC) task force for Latin America works to advance inclusive, scalable, and sustainable education throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.

Task force actions in 2025 – 2026 (Spanish Speaking Countries):
1. Interpretate the ICDE purpose statement, identify local challenges and create messages for Spanish speaking countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.
2. Incorporate contributions from the GAC Task force in the analysis on Challenges of non-presential Education in Latin America and the Caribbean.
3. Solidify and condense findings to be presented and further elaborated at the ICDE World Conference in Wellington in November.

About the task force
The Latin America task force is jointly led by UniRede and the Latin American and Caribbean Institute for Quality in Distance Higher Education (CALED), two key ICDE member institutions in the region with expertise in inclusive, scalable and sustainable education.
The task force welcomes both Portuguese and Spanish speaking members to join their group.
