PRACTICAL INFORMATION:


1- Registration and pick-up of conference materials:


You can register and pick up the SCOP conference materials and your badge at the general registration desk of the 20th ICDE World Conference venue ( CCD, Congress Center Düsseldorf, Stockumer Kirchsstrasse 61, D-40474 Dusseldorf), which will be open on Sunday 1 April, from 14:00 to. 21.00; and on Monday from 8.00 to 18:30.



2- Transportation to the SCOP conference venue:


After the plenary session on Monday 2 April at 11:15 am, busses with the ICDE SCOP sign will pick you up at the "Stadhalle" entrance of the conference center ( this is the main conference entrance facing the Rhine river). Please be there in time. The trip to Neuss will take about 10 minutes. The mayor of the city will welcome the participants at historical building: the Zeughaus, where the lunch buffet will be served.


3- SCOP Sessions:


The sessions will take place at the Sparkasse Neuss, Oberstrasse 110-124 just 5 minutes walk from the previous venue, in the city center of Neuss).


4- Presidents Dinner:


The cocktail reception and the dinner will take place on the Insel Hombroich ( address: 41472 Neuss-Holzheim) at 18:30. This is a museum-island, which is famous for its special combination of art and nature. Transportation will be provided from the SCOP venue at the Sparkasse to the museum. At the end of the evening the busses will take you back to your hotels (please be prepared for a short outside walk through natural park areas. For the dinner, gala dress is not required).



5- With your SCOP material is included a report from the ICDE SCOP Task Force on Research. The report will be made available at the SCOP meeting in Dusseldorf, and there will be a special presentation by Dr. O. Jegede on Tuesday 3 April at 11.00 in room 8 at the Dusseldorf Conference Center.
