Register for the eventJoin this interactive session hosted by ICDE Partner, The Aga Khan Foundation and their Learning Hub team! You will be guided through their experience in creating a digital learning platform that opens the doors of opportunity to all, by making available high quality learning content to anyone in the world, completely free of charge.

The Learning Hub hosts hundreds of high-quality video-based and blended learning courses, instructional videos, immersive 360 videos, and other learning content in 30 different languages, on a range of topics including how to create an inclusive classroom environment and facilitating adult learning.
The story of The Learning Hub, which today has learners from 195 different countries and more than 150 content development partners, started in Mozambique ten years ago. There, a group of practitioners came up with an innovative model for designing, developing and disseminating blended learning content using a low-cost content development approach. This model has since been replicated in a number of countries serving diverse audiences.
This session will explore the following questions:
- What are the elements of The Learning Hub’s low-cost content development approach?
- How and why did we go about developing our own low-cost Learning Management System?
- What are some key, practical lessons learned along the way?
