Seminar topic:
Common Data Sense: A Process-Oriented Approach for Online Education Research Projects

The objective of this seminar is to provide a structured approach to data analytics that can be applied to improve online education research projects. We will look at several aspects including leading data practices, information design, data quality, integration, and management methods. Participants will gain knowledge on how to implement data analytics and research project management strategically to ensure robustness.

The seminar will use real-world data and case studies to discuss data management theories. Participants will also be given the opportunity to bring in their research projects for problem identification and solution suggestions.

Presenter: Prof. Rajesh Jugulum, Northeastern University/HBMSU

Prof. Jugulum is a data science and process engineering leader currently at Northeastern University, and previously a visiting professor at HBMSU. He has executive experience in industry and academia. He has authored several books and papers on data quality and design. Rajesh is the Chairman of the Board at Lumenytics and has received honors including ASQ’s Feigenbaum Medal and the International Technology Institute’s Rockwell Medal. He has delivered talks and lectures at conferences, universities, and companies globally, and has participated as a judge in data-related competitions.
