Call for hosts for ICDE events in 2026-2027
Round one: Register for interest
ICDE institutional members are invited to register their interest to host an ICDE in-person or hybrid event in 2026 or 2027. There are three rounds to the bidding process. The deadline for the first round is 8 February 2025.
Members from Asia, Middle East, Africa and North America are particularly encouraged to apply. ICDE institutional members can submit proposals either individually or in partnership with another ICDE member.
Hosting an ICDE event provides a unique opportunity to explore partnerships and strategic collaboration with other institutions, agencies and associations. Hosts can elevate their international profile, illustrate their expertise on topics and trends within the field, and provide valuable regional input in timely debates. We invite members who wish to impact the global agenda for the future of inclusive, scalable, and sustainable education and support the implementation of the ICDE Strategic Plan to register their interest.

What is an ICDE event?
ICDE events are international by nature and focus on key topics within inclusive, scalable and sustainable education. Event programmes are broad with global representation of insights, expertise and practices from various stakeholders and institutions. Facilitation of networking, collaboration and partnerships through a highly interactive and engaging format is recommended. We welcome innovative ways to explore the real-time value of international collaboration during the events.
ICDE World Conference
This is our largest global gathering of ICDE members and those in the wider community. It is considered the leading international event in our field and has a well-established history. This event attracts 600 – 1,000 delegates from all regions and positions within the field and related sectors. Find out more about our 30th ICDE World Conference to be held in 2025.
ICDE International event
The ICDE International conferences have a regional perspective combined with a global view on topics within inclusive, scalable and sustainable education. They could either have an expressed regional focus with a global scope or an entirely global focus. The conference can also have an expressed topical focus such as the ICDE Lifelong Learning Conference or an ICDE Policy Forum.
ICDE Leadership Summit
The ICDE Leadership Summit is a leadership-focused international conference which explores contemporary challenges and opportunities facing today’s educational leaders and innovators in the globally connected digital era.
