This ongoing project, which is sponsored by UNESCO and the global development financing program infoDev, aims to encourage the sharing of information and experience about ICT and learning especially relevant to the developing world.
Every month a topic for discussion is published on the Educational Technology Debate (ETD) website. ETD advances the conversation through weekly posts, inviting thought leaders and opinion makers from the field of technology and education to contribute to and stimulate constructive conversations and open discussions. Outside contributors are also encouraged to post comments, related information and relevant news items.
Topics for discussion include:
- High-Tech vs. Low-Tech
- Free and Open Source Software vs. Proprietary Solutions
- Open and Distance Learning
- Unintended Consequences of ICT4E?
To read and contribute to this month's discussion go to the ETD website. Should you be interested in becoming a moderator or discussant, please contact ETD.
