The Netexplorateur Forum showcases the top 100 new and emerging trends in the use of digital technology over the previous year, selected by a network of experts from around the globe. Organized by the international observatory Netexplorateur, an organization providing information on the global digital revolution, the Forum is centred on the uses as well as on the cultural and social phenomenon of the Web. This year the Forum was hosted at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, France.
Among the ten inventions chosen to receive a Netexplorateur award was Obami, a free social networking site developed as an e-learning, collaboration and communication platform for use within and between schools.
