24th ICDE World Conference - abstract submission open
Published 14.06.10Abstract submission will remain open until 31 March 2011 for the 24th ICDE World Conference on Open and Distance Learning. Hosted by Universitas Terbuka, Indonesia, and supported by the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia, the 24th ICDE World Conference will be held 2–5 October 2011 on the island of Bali, Indonesia.

Regulatory frameworks pilot winning bid announced
Published 09.07.10The successful bidder for this ICDE sponsored project is a consortium of the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education, the Australasian Council on Open, Distance and E-Learning, the Distance Education Hub, and the Australian Universities Quality Agency.
SCOP 2011: Save the date

COL-UNESCO Initiative on OER

This is part of a joint COL-UNESCO initiative entitled, 'Taking OER beyond the OER Community: Policy and Capacity'. A summary of the first forum has now been published.
Eden Research Workshop: registration

Submission date extended - Symbiosis International Conference
Published 18.08.10ICDE member institution, Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning, has opened online registration for its International Conference to be held in 21-23 February, 2011, in Pune, India. The date for abstract submission has now also been extended to 16 October, 2010.
BOCODOL: Call for papers
Published 20.09.10ICDE member institution the Botswana College of Distance and Open Learning (BOCODOL) is marking its tenth anniversary this year. As part of the commemorations BOCODOL will be hosting a National Conference on Open and Distance Learning on 8–9 December 2010 in Gaborone, Botswana, and has now announced a call of papers.
Open Ed 2010 update

A number of important updates including an extension to the early bird registration period, an optional extra activity and information about accommodation availability have been published.
