New President appointed at the Open University of China

ICDE member institution, the Open University of China (OUC) has recently appointed Dr Yang Zhijian as President.

  

ICDE member institution the Open University of China (previously China Central Radio and TV University - CRTVU) state their confidence in the newly appointed President and his commitment to facilitating educational reform and innovation. Dr Yang Zhijian, who has long been working in the Higher Education Department in the Ministry of Education in China, and will succeed Prof. Ge Daokai as President. 

Since the OUC joined ICDE in 1995 it has participated in ICDE activities proactively. ICDE hopes this new chapter in the OUC will prove to be similarly fruitful and productive, continuing the tradition of close collaboration and academic exchange.
