Published 31.08.09ICDE launch a new website which aims to be both an authoritative reference tool and a virtual meeting place for all sections
of the open and distance education community.
Three main entry points have been established: Forum is both a virtual meeting place and a source of information about physical
meetings; Context describes the world of open and distance education; and Resources contains information on developments within
the field.

CRTVU Study tour
Published 04.09.09A delegation from China Central Radio and TV University (CRTVU) held a study tour to Scandinavia in August. The delegation, led by Prof. Ruan Zhiyong, Vice President of CRTVU visited distance education institutions in Oslo and Tromso in Norway, and Stockholm in Sweden.
