Venue: Tianjin

Tianjin is one of the 4 municipalities directly under the Central Government of the P.R. China, and the third largest city in China only after Beijing and Shanghai. Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area (TEDA) was established in 1984 with the approval of the State Council of the People's Republic of China. It is one of the first state-class economic-technological development areas in the country. The city is also the hub of communications of North China and the gateway of the capital city Beijing.

Tianjin's education grew vigorously and formed an integrated educational system from elementary education to higher education progressively, including preschool education, special education, adult education and cadre education. There are 11,957 schools, 1.894 million students and 126 thousand teachers in Tianjin. The rate of school attendance among all school-agers reached 99%. There are 12 Major Universities and Colleges in Tianjin.
