Kstudy Distance Lifelong Education Center, Korea joins ICDE

ICDE extends a warm welcome to new member institution, Kstudy Distance Lifelong Education Center from Korea.

 

Established in 2000 as a distance education provider, the Kstudy Distance Lifelong Education Center operates under the Academic Credit Bank System (ACBS), a government endorsed open education system that recognizes learning experiences gained both within and outside school.

Kstudy Distance Lifelong Education Center aims to create lifelong learning opportunities that meet the increasing demand for education in Korea. Currently it offers 27 remote courses through the ACBS system, to a student body of over 31,400. The institution also invests in research on advanced information technology required for distance education, academic achievements of learners, attainment of mastery learning and the assessment of individual curricula.

The center is committed to providing a learning system with high quality content and educators.
