The biannual DEANZ conference is aimed at leaders and practitioners involved in open, flexible and distance learning. The
theme for 2012 is 'Shift Happens' with three themes of resilience, relevance and reform:
- Resilience: dealing with uncertainty and coping with changes you can and cannot influence.
- Relevance: providing education that is relevant to the context and culture of the learner
- Reform: moving to better futures for all, through recognising political, social, economic and perosnal drivers.
The conference will be relevant to individuals or institutions (private or public) with an interest in the most up to date research and practice for distance and open learning. The conference aims to be an opportunity to meet with local and international thought leaders, learn new ideas and improve your own practice.
