These pages aim first to provide an overview of the main associations and network organizations around the globe which promote the cause of open and distance education and which have a website. Institutions around the globe which practise open and distance modes of learning are then listed.

The overview cannot, however, be considered complete, and ICDE is unable to confirm the standing or quality of tuition of any of the institutions listed. The criteria for inclusion are generally: i) size of institution; ii) information about the institution available in English; iii) international visibility of the institution.
Institutions and associations wishing to submit a profile or update their current profile are encouraged to use the contribute function.
