Founded in 1996, USC now has 7,500 students, 12 percent from overseas, and is Australia’s fastest-growing university, with plans to double enrolments in the next decade. More than 100 degrees and postgraduate programs are delivered through the faculties of Business; Arts and Social Sciences; and Health, Science and Education with many courses offering a blended learning approach. Research focuses on sustainability, regional engagement and health, with established excellence in climate change adaptation, aquaculture, tropical forestry, and sport and exercise.
