The major objective of the annual conference of UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education (IITE) this year,
is to discuss challenges and share best experience in the field of Information and Communication technologies (ICTs) in education.
The focus of this year's conference is ICTs in Teacher Education: Policy Development, OER (open educational resources) and
Partnership.
Main Conference topics:
- Teacher Development Policies and Programmes including deployment of ICTs,
- Innovative Media Technologies in Education,
- ICT Competencies of Teachers & Emerging Technologies.
The Conference programme includes a special session for UNESCO Chairs and UNITWIN Network. This year's Conference is supported by the UNESCO Moscow Office and organized in partnership with three St. Petersburg universities.
