Report on SCOP 2006

The topic of Open Content was eagerly debated. Renowned speakers from education, industry and politics presented their views and explored relevant themes in the field of flexible, open, and distance education.

 

The conference theme was Borderless University Teaching – Cooperation and Competition.

The emerging access of Open Content available at the Internet was a topic eagerly debated among the participants at the meeting. The Norway Opening Universities has published more on this subject at their website (Norwegian text only). 

Participants at the meeting are welcome to download the proceedings from the conference website. You will need a username and password. 

The Norwegian Minister of Education and Research and the ICDE SCOP Patron, Mr. Øystein Djupedal, gave a keynote speech at this year's SCOP meeting in Lillehammer.
