Media & Learning 2011

Registration is open for the Media & Learning 2011 conference to be held in Brussels, Belgium, on 24-25 November. The conference is aimed at practitioners and policy makers with an interest in the development of digital and media skills in education, and in exploring dynamic ways to embed media into the learning process.

 

Organized in collaboration with the Flemish Ministry of Education and Training and the European Commission, the event aims to identify policies and initiatives that promote digital and media competence as well as to promote best-practice in the take-up and application of media in education and training.

The conference will feature workshops, hands-on training sessions, and also offer information sessions describing different initiatives and developments supported by European and national programmes.

  • Future trends and developments in media-supported learning
  • Digital and media production skills and competences including media literacy
  • Use and re-use of existing media resources in education and training at all levels

MEDEA Awards

The winners of this year's MEDEA Awards will be honored during an awards ceremony at Media & Learning 2011. Further details on the call for award submissions can be found here.
