This Report presents the outcomes of the ICT cluster that the Commission has set up under the Education and Training 2010
programme as part of the Lisbon objectives set for 2010. This is an independent report prepared by the members of the ICT
cluster with support from the Technopolis Group (consultant) and DG Education and Culture of the European Commission. It is
based on the work done by the ICT cluster between 2006 and 2009. The Report was also supported by the Institute for Prospective
Technological Studies (IPTS, Joint Research Centre), Cedefop, Eurydice and the European Training Foundation, which actively
took part in the Peer Learning Activities of the ICT cluster. The ICT cluster is comprised of representatives of the Ministries
of Education of 18 Member States.
