ICDE-UNESCO Book on Latin America

ICDE, through the efforts of its Vice President for Latin America Prof. Marta Mena, and UNESCO Latin America had published a book called "Distance Education in Latin America. Models,Technologies and Realities".

 

The book is the result of the cooperative work of ten  (10 ) countries of the region: Argentina, Brasil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Chile, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru and Puerto Rico and provides a broad overview of the situation of the region and the search for distance education models that are adjusted to the specific characteriscs and aspirations of each country.

                      
The book was presented in the International Book Fear of Buenos Aires on 23 of April 2004. The first edition was sold out within few weeks and the second edition will be published soon.
