EDEN Annual Conference: call for papers

ICDE Associate member EDEN has released a call for papers ahead of its Annual Conference to be held 6-9 June 2012 in Porto, Portugal. The theme of next year's conference is Open Learning Generations, with the aim of putting focus on junior and senior e-learners.

Open learning for and amongst diverse generations

2012 will be the European Year of Active Ageing and the Solidarity Between Generations, and with this in mind EDEN's Annual Conference will approach the key questions of learning methodology and technology focusing on the 'open learning generations'. The conference will explore learning cultures, technology use patterns, and discuss new approaches in pedagogy that respond to junior and senior e-learners.

Call for Contributions

EDEN invites submissions for papers, workshops, posters and demonstrations before 10 February 2012. The 2012 EDEN Annual Conference will also, for the first time, offer the opportunity to give virtual presentations. The conference allows openness in choosing the topics and in applying interactive formats and presentation methods. Conference registration will be available online from mid-February next year.
