Cyber Hankuk University of Foreign Studies(CUFS) is the one and only university in South Korea specialized in foreign languages based on the foundation of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies(HUFS)' fifty-eight years of experience reproduced in online form. HUFS has 45 different foreign language departments.

CUFS consists of 6 Departments(English Department, Chinese Department, Japanese Department, Korean Department, Global Business Administration Department and Media Department) for the undergraduate course and also has Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Graduate School and Center for Continuing Education as affiliates.

CUFS has offered unstinting support for their students with its creative education programs and remarkable abilities of content development since opening its doors in 2004. Especially in 2011, CUFS was selected as the leading university of smart learning system by the Korea Education & Research Information Service based on building the most advanced Mobile Campus.

CUFS also has the advantage of cultivating global talent with the largest number of foreign professors. During vacation, CUFS operates various international exchange activities in cooperation with the top overseas universities. In 2011-2012, CUFS has been selected as a supervision university of the dispatch program of Korean teacher to the Thailand local school by the Ministry of Education of Korea.

To reflect the community's growing interest in the Spanish language, CUFS will establish Korea's first online Spanish Department by 2013. CUFS will continue to develop programs and courses that aim to reflect the changing the needs of society.
