This book was compiled by Marta Mena, Claudio Rama and Angel Facundo and published in Bogotá by Universidad National Abierta, with sponsorship from the University, ICDE and VIRTUAL EDUCA. It contains contributions from 26 experts with research on, and comparative studies of 15 countries in the region. The book was launched during the ICDE International Conference in the Dominican Republic.
